Saw this woman right in front of me. The train passed as I pressed the shutter.
Waiting for the A train. New York City.
Do you eat meat? Do you like to eat with your hands? Do you like to get down and dirty and enjoy an all American fare? Then Baby Blues BBQ is the establishment for you.
From their Smokin Wings, to their Texas Style Beef Rib, to Poboy’s to their key lime pie. Everything at Baby Blues is finger licking good!
Let me tell you about the awesomeness you see above.
That right there is Bacon Cheddar Buttermilk Biscuits w/ Maple butter, Steamed Mussels in green curry w/ Chinese sausage and rice, Bacon w/ brown sugar and chili, Truffle Honey Laced Fried Chicken, Vietnamese Caramel Pork Jowl, and finally the Pomegranate Couscous salad.
Where did you say do you get this crazy mouth watering dishes? At Manhattan Beach Post in Manhattan Beach, CA! This neighborhood gem is hard to get into but so worth the wait. The communal tables are an awesome place to share these small plates w/ friends. They have a great wine list but really, go for those bacon biscuits, the rest of the food is just a bonus!
Summer nights at the beach surrounded by great friends, taco’s in hand, music playing, tequila is the perfect drink until you have a few and its the next day! Haha!
Casa Ado is this adorable restaurant that serves delicious Italian food.
I was able to score a table outside which was the perfect place to people watch and enjoy the sunset.
They have a great wine collection and the food was delightful! Service can be a bit slow but you won’t mind, its part of the charm.
My favorite dish is the Tagliolini Neri con Code d’ Aragosta e Vongole which is black ink Tagliolini Noodle sautéed w/ Lobster Slipper Tail, Manila Clams in a spicy marinara sauce. Ample seafood w/ the perfectly made pasta!
Check this place out!
Seriously my last meal on earth would be Indian food. I absolutely love eating with my hands, the spices, the curries, the naan, the rice and most of all the culture.
Would you guys agree?
Stumbled upon a quaint place in downtown Culver City called The Wallace. What a great place to go w/ a bunch of friends and have good wine and food in a beautiful ambiance.
As a party of six we were able to order several dishes. We ordered the following:
Braised White Beans dip was delicious though a bit salty.
Grilled Cauliflower is a must order. The kind of dish you’ll crave.
Salted Roasted Beets was good but not worth ordering again though a pretty dish.
Indian Eggplant was a bit disappointing, too salty.
Crispy Sweet Potatoes is what you would expect but that curry ketchup is what surprises you. Worth ordering again.
Pacific Halibut was good and again a bit salty but beautifully plated.
Roasted Bone Marrow was a hit! A must order!
Duroc Pork Belly was delicious! Order this!
Fried Mary’s Chicken was a fail. It was burnt and tough. The cornbread was dry.
So the consensus was the food was good just a bit heavy on the salt.
Um why hasn’t anyone ever told me about The Counter Burger? It’s a build your own burger joint in Southern California and its amazeballs! Yes you read right.
This was my mind blowing custom made vegetarian bowl. Let me tell what I put in it.
Vegan Veggie patty, Organic Mixed Greens, Quinoa, Alfalfa Sprouts, Corn & Black Bean Salsa, Sliced Avocado and a Hard Boiled Egg and side of Horseradish Aioli.
Me in a bowl. Healthy and yummy! :)
